Chrome never looked better

As always Pebble Beach Concours provides the best stage for the most exciting single day, every year for worshipers of automotive icons. This years featured marques were Ferrari, Rolls Royce & Hispano Suiza

It was our staffs impression that the diversity of actual types and manufactures was greater than many years. This was underscored by the judges choice for grand champion. Which did not come from any of the featured marques at the show!

1904 Oldsmobile.... was another Pre-WWI stunner

There was a very large selection of mint examples of Pre-World War I automotive jems.  Nearly overshadowing the Rolls Royce's & Hiso's in attendance. The original Silver Ghost, considered to be the rarest of all Rolls Royce. Traveling 5,000 miles, underscoring the elegance of Rolls Royce historically at Pebble Beach. The gathering of early period Rolls Royce's was as stunning as the formula one Ferrari's. Ferrari stunned everyone in Monterey by bringing it's full collection of factory Grand Prix cars for both Pebble Beach and also the Historic Races.

The "Spiker" ( foreground ) & Giugiaro's hybrid "Volta" (background)

The Lodge lawn at Pebble Beach always creates a "Buzz" of another type for the public. All of the rarest concept designs from around the world. Positioned on the Lodge lawn are in themselves capture thousands every day. This year the Volta & Spiker were on the lips of everyone in attendance. We will have features on both the VOLTA by ITAL-Giugiaro, and also the Spiker very soon. The Spiker is currently in production and will arrive the USA by spring 2005. Also the Spiker is currently finishing certification for California sales.

Enzo's legacy was represented in great style everywhere in Monterey

The proudest examples of Ferrari Grand Prix history were gathered for the thousands of Ferrari fans to savor. In a never before display in America. We will have a entire section devoted to the Ferrarr's at this years Pebble Beach in our section 3. Also don't for get to read story and download our photos of the entire collection at the 2004 Historic Races at Laguna Seca, coming soon.
