Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, once again working at Fiorano and Mugello.

At Fiorano, on what was a typical spring day, Rubens Barrichello had an F2005 at his disposal and carried out an intensive Bridgestone tyre development programme, while also working on finding the best set-up for the car. The Brazilian driver covered a total of 180 laps (17 on the short version of the track,) setting a best time of 57”904.

At the Tuscan track, Michael Schumacher and Luca Badoer were again on duty. Both worked mainly on Bridgestone tyre development. Driving an F2005, Michael covered 127 laps, 13 of them on the short version of the track. Luca, who was at the wheel of an F2004 M, did 75 (8 short.) The best times on the day were 1’21”534 for the world champion and 1’23”447 for the Scuderia’s official test driver.

The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow with the following schedule: Schumacher will be at Fiorano and Barrichello will join Badoer at Mugello.
