Ready to race down the lawn...............L.Marvin 2002

As always Pebble Beach's Concourse creates a wonderful feast of historic icons, and the glamorous coachwork that defines automotive styles foundations of the last century. The 2002 Pebble Beach class of participants was no exception. Maybach, Mercedes Benz and Cadillac formed the foundations for the 2002 event. A special exposition of the Fiat V8 Supersonics from the 1950's was a very exotic addition.

The 2002 was the first year for a new aspect of Pebble Beach. That was the "Projects in Progress" display. These are cars that are expected to be completed for the 2003 concourse display. This new concept allows the public to see the beautiful internal systems and structures hidden once the coachwork is added.
